Help with Youtube Monetization!!!

Hi my name is Tik, a while ago Youtube disabled my Monetization and Custom Thumbnails, so I was pretty bummed at first but then removed all my videos that had "copyright notices" on them. I only have 3 copyright notices that i have all acknowledged, and I also recently applied for the Fullscreen network and got accepted but Fullscreen was unable to partner me because Youtube disabled my Monetization. I got really upset because that was my main goal on Youtube to become a partner but anyways, My videos dont look good anymore because i cant put a custom thumbnail on them which is really bad for on-going series and I just wanted to have them bring it back now, i've read the help and it said i have to wait at least six months before they can bring it back.

My channel is Randomtik

I have

Community Guidlines = Good Standing

Copyright strikes = good standing
Content ID claims = good standing

"Partner Varified"'

Monetization = Monetization has been disabled.

Custom Thumbnails = Your account is not eligable at this time.

Is there any way I can contact Youtube?

To be honest, after three copyright strikes, your channel and adsense are supposed to be permanently shut down. I'd count yourself lucky, and spend the next six months working on content you yourself own, so you're able to kick a** when the revenue can come in again :-)

There isn't anything you can do if your monetization is disabled except appeal your ban in the first place. Check out the email they sent you when you were disabled for a link to appeal.

Wow you are a lucky man. You must be grateful that you didn't get your account suspended. Because literly one of the people randomly claimed my videos as copyright and.for some reason it got accepted it my account got accepted. Though, with those strikes you can email the person who claimed the copyright to remove the claim. Ask them nicely, tell them you didn know to remove it. Since I can't put any link here, type in google youtube copyright retract and send them link of the requirements that you need to retract the claim.

Hope helped! :)

Sorry for any grammar problem, I'm on the phone.

so copyright notices can get your monetization disabled? I thought it's ok if you acknowledge it?
They don't. Copyright strikes might disable your monetization until the strikes have gone then it will return to normal (this isn't the case for this guy).

Also acknowledging the Content ID claim does nothing but tell YouTube you're guilty of using someone else's work without authorisation.

Thank you very much :)

Yeah, you're pretty lucky as is by the fact your account is still up at all. A couple things I would say on the matter that might help-

First, YouTube is run by people. It's easy to forget that. If the people reviewing your account and videos etc are convinced that you're playing by the rules and will continue to do so, then usually it's smooth sailing. Sometimes they'll test you and not monetize a video for X reason, and make you provide proof you can use something. For instance: most of my videos are monetized almost instantly at this point. They know I play by the rules, and I've never given them any undue hell over their choice to monetize or not etc. Even then, the video I put up last night isn't monetized yet (this is 12 hours ago I uploaded). I used a new outro song on this one, so they're probably going to want proof I can use it. Even though it's a song I have used before on other videos that are approved and I do have the license to use it. They may still want proof though, it's kind of like a periodic check in. I've had a good run of about 3 months with no requests from them for proof of anything, and now they're randomly checking in on my stuff. It's just how the game has to be played.

The second thing that's worth mentioning since you have copyright strikes- fair use doesn't exist. At least, that's how most of this process should be treated. If you go about it that way, you'll have minimal problems moving forward. The owner of virtually any media ever created can make a claim. A lot of the time, people don't care. But a lot of the time, people do. Google and YouTube are just trying to look out for people and protect creative rights. Assume that if you didn't make it, it's not up for use, and you'll be fine. Not to say people don't use things all the time that don't belong to them. They do. But especially in your case, know that YouTube is watching your account very close and will probably review every aspect of any video uploaded for quite some time.

Good luck to you man.

Wow thanks to everyone who replied I didn't know people would have noticed my post so quickly. Anyways I guess i'm gonna have to wait the whole six months until I can earn partnership :( . Once again thank you for replying to my post and helping me out!!! :)
