Hey guys. I am now just 6 more subs away from my 25th specail video that I will make for you people. I am going to be singing a rap song. So I sure hope to see you on my channel soon. Thanks!
 
Honestly, asking for subscribers is not normally a good way to grow on this site. Besides, if you ask for them, they won't be likely to watch your future videos. Not worth it in my opinion...
 
They subscribe to you and then... What? They don't watch your videos. You have all these subscribers and your view/sub ratio is all whacked. Create content that is good, eyegrabbing and interact with your audience. Nobody likes the homeless man asking for change, but they give him money because "they feel sorry for him". Is that the image you want? I might sound harsh, but playing nice and sugar coating would be doing you a detriment

Yep, this is what I came to post. The fastest way to get people to ignore your posts on here or shrug you off as a spammer is to post stuff in the wrong section, especially self-promotion. If you are posting in the right places on the forum and being active, I'm sure people will click on your channel, and check you out, and I'm sure you will reach your subscriber goals soon.
