Hi,

As any fullscreener will know you can take part in gorilla campaigns to get some extra cash.

I did on yesterday and I'm so annoyed this morning to see that the campaign updated, the budget had run out and I got nothing. (It might update later and get some) but still.

So I had a look at some of the channels that had taken part and 2 of them had over 100k subs.

This made me think, do you think they should be able to take part in small budget campaigns because they'll get loads of views and earn all the money. e.g One person got 54k views...

So what do you think of this?

Joe :)

I think everyone should be able to take part. Whether some channels NEED to take part is another thing entirely, but I don't think anyone should be excluded for being already popular.

When you say nothing, do you mean no views, subs or anything at all? How long did it run for?

I mean I did the campaign (of course) to get some money, because as a small channel you don't get much so gorilla things are great, but I don't think I got anything, (it may update) but I think you can see my point, no doubt they already earn a bit of money. Of course they should be able to do them but maybe the ones with a higher budget because the campaign is meant to run for 30 days and most run for like 2. I hope you understand what i mean

Think of it from the other point of view. Lets say your channel was the focus of a gorilla campaign. Would you only want small channels advertising you or would you want some really large ones telling their fans about you? Advertisers think the same way. The only reason they're willing to pay for an ad campaign is because they know some large channels will always participate.
