I'm a youtube partner and have a google adsense account and I started a new channel and linked my adsense account to the new channel. Then I happen to notice that my adsense said it wasnt activated on my new youtube account. Do I lose all the view money I would've got?

Unfortunately since it wasn't activated properly it couldn't possibly collect the views in that case the revenue:(

Sorry bud I think you do but you never know I don't have adsense so maybe you don't but again I'm the wrong guy to ask

Pretty sure as long as monetization was enabled it starts accumulating... I am not sure explicitly in the case of a second channel but I would expect the linking is not required as Google's/YouTube's goal is to partner as many as possible currently as it makes business sense for them to do so.

In the YouTube FAQ, it says you can enable monetization before you attatch an Adsense account, but you technically aren't allowed to accumulate earnings yet. If you've had monetization enabled before, and then attatch an Adsense account, they deposit a "bonus" into your Adsense account. I'm not sure if it's the same amount as if you had Adsense linked from the start (probably not) but it's more than nothing.
After associating an AdSense account with your YouTube account, YouTube may deposit a bonus in your AdSense account to thank you for your video monetization contribution before you associated an AdSense account.
The bonus may be based on a number of factors including, among other things, your video performance, your account standing, any site-level invalid traffic analysis, and your previous relationship with AdSense, if any.
Technically, we can't accrue earnings for you until you associate an AdSense account. After associating your accounts, your future earnings from the ads served with your videos can be viewed in AdSense and in YouTube Analytics.
