Good News! Claim Released

Hey!
I just got an email and I'm a bit confused about it.
"Good news! Sony Pictures Movies & shows has just released their copyright claim on your youtube video.
Video Title: 'Drift City Final (initial D style 2)
-The YouTube Team"

This was an old video I made in 2007 on my old channel and I slapped some music that was obviously licensed. I thought oh that's nice they removed their claim, but the video had been removed with the copyright claim a looong time ago (at least it got 28k views lol) so what difference does it make now?

Anyways just found this interesting wondering if any you have had this happen.

Thats funny lol. Maybe after they originally removed your video, they had trouble sleeping at night because of the guilt that came with deleting something that you worked so hard to create, and after years of no sleep they finally decided to remove the claim to no longer feel this guilt.

Only logical thing I can think of.
