As a visitor to your channel I really dont understand what to expect, I see your HTC video which makes me think you could be doing tutorials in the future but I am still unsure if its a one off or not. I think you should fill in your about me, turn your featured tab on, turn autoplay on for the featured video and disable the redirect to the feed tab if you havent already. That way you will gain views from those visiting your channel without them clicking to watch your latest video.
I think having a background suited to whatever you plan on doing will pay off now especially as it will give people an idea of what you are all about, this will help make it more obvious as not everyone will click through to your introduction/welcome video
I enjoyed your HTC video, it was clear and to the point and helpful for those wanting the widget on their desktop.
