games review copyright?

so what are the copyright rules when reviewing a game, i.e. I believe there is fair use involved in parody, comment and reviews of games, films etc. but I have often seen (or i think i have) people being discouraged from disputing it

so is it ok to use clips from a game ( with commentary over it throughout) for purpose of reviewing the game.

I would hope so unless the game is a big no no like shining force 3. I wish activision wasn't so defensive cause I'd feel weird not reviewing the new tmnt game coming out.

great thanks,so now that it says match third party content ( not a block but just matched content) do i acknowledge (as it is their content) or do I dispute ( seems less likely as they have not taken action against me)

Not sure what acknowledging does. Someone else has to answer that. But I know you can't dispute it because obviously you didn't make the game.
