GAMERS: DON'T SIGN THAT RPM CONTRACT YET [MUST READ | DETAILS]

Many of you know that the network RPM (Apart of Maker) has recently updated their network in terms of contracts and requirements. Now, people with as low as 34 views can join. People are saying this is a bad decision. It is in some ways; but people don't realize that RPM now have TWO (ONE) contracts. Here’s a quick rundown on them!

RPM NOW ONLY HAS 1 CONTRACT SO I HAD TO CROSS OUT THE IRRELEVANT PARTS.
This post is for gamers who are just jumping onto the contract in a hurry and are signing without doing ANY research.
[Background]
If you get 84 views daily you can become a full YouTube partner. Is this all legit? Yes, yes it is. However, there is always a downside to these things. Since RPM is now giving out partnerships to basically anyone, they will offer you a mediocre contract.

Option # 1: [Lower Rev Share Contract]
It will be a:
·2 Year Contract
·50%/50% split
This contract right here is not something to be that happy about. Being locked into a network for 2 years, with a 50/50 split, just because you make a hasty decision can trigger regrets that you may have in the future. RPM is a great network, as I am a partner under them as well. However, I am a partner under one of their sub-networks, N4Gtv.

Option # 2: [How to Get the Better Contract]
If your YouTube channel meets these requirements:
·84 Views Per Day/2500 monthly
·No Copyright Strikes & Adsense Status is in good condition

You will receive a higher-rev share contract which is:
·1 Year Contract
·60%/40% split
So as you can see, if you just take some time to get an average of 84 views per day, you can get the higher-rev share contract and earn more money, and will not have to be locked on for two years.

You can check your YT stats here:

Option # 3: [A Sub-Network]
RPM has a sub-network for gamers as well. N4Gtv is a network based around geeks/gamers. The contracts are directly from Maker/RPM since N4Gtv is a sub-network. Currently, this is the only sub-network that Maker/RPM have, so it’s one thing to keep in mind while applying for partnership through RPM if you are a gamer! You will need 84 daily views to join N4Gtv if that is an option that you want to look into.

[How to See what Contract You Get Offered?]
You can see what contract RPM offers you, once you apply. The process is almost instantaneous. You put in your name, connect your channel by clicking the button, and it will give you a contract. It's up to you to sign. If you want, go "CTRL-F" and search for "%" or "year(s)" or whatever, and find the section it says how long the contract will be, and how much you will get.
You can APPLY here and see which contract you get. (DON'T SIGN OR ACCEPT TERMS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SIGN. SIMPLY LEAVE THE PAGE!)

I am in no way advertising for RPM. My views are solely based on my own experiences with them. This post is more of a tutorial to help gamers who are thinking about joining with RPM; to stop, and realize that there are more options. It does not even have to be with RPM. It can be with any network. It's important you know that there are a bunch of other networks out there as well! Hope this helped in some way!

[Keep Your Options Open]
Also, keep in mind that there are many networks out there. Some have pros, and most also have cons. Do a lot of research before jumping onto a contract and signing it!

Why are people still making threads about RPM....

I mean this is useful and all for new people, but frankly its been one here too much.

I made this awhile ago, but never posted it on here. I ran into some problems so I had to edit it and repost from yesterday.

It's because people are just "all aboard the RPM train" since they said they will accept anyone. They probably realized they could not do it, with all the people coming in, so they changed it to 34 daily views for the lower contract. I see so many people signing with them so I wanted to create this so the newcomers would take a second to think about what they are doing. :p

I agree with Matt. Why is this STILL coming up?

Please use the search bar, as there is hundreds of RPM posts/threads....

I mean it's cool that you want to give advice, but there has been one to many threads made about this.

we all pretty much know this stuff:)

Sorry. The day RPM said they were accepting everyone, everyone on here was talking bad about RPM and they did not even know about the new system of contracts. I replied to a few people about this information as well. I was just late in getting this information into a thread. It's not for you, it's for newcomers who are thinking of signing to RPM.

When did RPM say they were accepting everyone?

TGS is a sub network of Maker (Even though they are for big time gamers)

I also think Union For Gamers is under Maker also..

Last I knew you needed 300+ daily views to join N4Gtv

Not trying to criticize, just help. I think this thread is better than others in a way because it's not just bashing RPM it shows that the crappy part of RPM with the new contract is only one part of Maker and not Maker as a whole since a lot of people tend to look at the two as the same thing...

As another note. Maker uses the "RPM contract" for most sub networks. You are really joining Maker via the sub network even though it says "RPM".

The fact that all (I think) of their sub networks (aside from TGS) are listed as being under RPM and not "Maker" itself makes things confusing, especially when their own partnering network is called "RPM" but sub networks are ACTUALLY going through Maker itself, but happen to use the "RPM Contract"... Hope I didn't lose you in that run on sentence.

To put it in perspective It goes:
Maker > TGS
Maker > N4Gtv
Maker > RPM

NOT
Maker > RPM > N4Gtv

It's the official "RPM Network" that you want to be careful of... The one that made all the stupid changes.. the one you can apply for through socialblade.. The other sub networks should still be good options for people interested.

If I am wrong about anything, feel free to correct me I won't be hurt (just be nice about it) lol
