FullScreen I don't get it?

I've never heard of Full Screen until I came across this site, and I have a few questions that I'm having trouble finding on the internet.

-Is the partnership 50/50 with Full Screen?
-I've heard other companies do 60/40.
-Do you gain money for views? Ads? Or both?
-When they say sponsor videos on their site do they mean that you will promote a product in your videos?
-Is it best to partner with Full Screen? Or wait until You Tube pops the question?

Thank you for all the help it's much appreciated!

Okay let me answer all of these.

1. I cannot discuss the earnings I make through fullscreen but I can tell you it is much better than 60/40 or 50/50.
2. You gain money from ads, just like YouTube monetizing but..not.
3. About promoting products, it's optional to discuss a certain product for the first 30 seconds of a video and get extra for it but it's not required.
4. If you're a small YouTuber just making it then yes, go with Fullscreen, but if you're well established and have a few thousand subscribers and are already a YT Partner then no. But it's really up to you, there's pros/cons of both.

1. Depends on your contract. Always read the contract, but the money is the last thing I watch in a contract.
2. Some companies do 60/40 some 70/30 and some 80/20.
3. I think it's ads. I never heard you get money for views. When I see my analytics I only see ad renvue no views.
4. What?
5. Youtube will never pops the question anymore. The partner program youtube had a few years ago is gone. Now when you enable ads you're a partner without the banner.

Thanks for the help, but they say something about it on their site with working with cross promotional campaigns

Yeah I'm trying to figure out all of the positives and negatives for both. I really appreciate the help!

1. Revenue split varies amongst different creators. The rule of thumb is, if you have a larger fan base odds are you can negotiate a better deal.
2. See above answer
3. You gain money the same way as YouTube. The pros of signing with a network is not only instant partnership, but they work with the advertiser to put more targeted ads on your channel designed to appeal to your audience. More targeted ads = higher Click-Through-Rate to your ads = Happy advertisers = bigger checks for you and the network.
4. Most likely yes. Sometimes, they will do a direct deal with the advertiser and try to have you do a video that centers around promotion of a product or brand.
5. It depends on what you want. If you're looking for the short term just to make money, then reach out to networks and sign now. If you want to focus on building your brand and letting people come to you, wait. This will give you more leverage when negotiating for better revenue splits between you can the network.

Hope that helps.

Thanks I really appreciate the advice, I think I'll wait another month or so and try to build more of a regular audience for my videos. So hopefully I can get a better deal with whoever I go with.
