Flipping channel content

Over this next year I will be flipping my channel to another video content type [don't want to say as of yet] but the change will be black to white. Some of the things that has me worried is that MOST of my viewers came to my channel due to the videos that I'm making [driving a semi truck and truck driver training] over the last two years. I'm planning on doing truck driving for another year MAYBE two [most likely not two years tho] and moving into another career.

What would be a good way to do the transition?

I have "reborn" my channel before but that was back when I had under 1k subs and most of them I feel where "dead". when I restarted my channel I explained that it will be following me in life and...well I don't want to take more time than needed if you wish to see that video let me know BUT the reason why I brought that up is, I was thinking maybe bring that up again and do the transition slowly?

I'll leave it there, let me know what you think or any tips. Thank you and have a good one

Moved to the strategy / technique forum. :)

I think the best strategy is to be completely and honest and transparent with your subs. Make a video about your future career plans and explain that that means you will eventually be stopping your truck driver videos. I think most vlog style channels are more about the personality and life of the creator rather than the actual subject or main theme. I used to watch videos by a guy who lived in the middle of nowhere and he collected knives and zippo lighters. I wasn't interested in either of those 2 hobbies but I liked his passion for those things and he also included info about his life, his goals etc.
