Five Things I Like About Fall! -- Comment on this video format?

I like the video for its simplicity but I wonder if the pop up usage is excessive? I don't know the first thing about making videos, I am still really green at it but for what it's worth that was my thought.
 
I figured they'd be a good aid instead of just me talking! Butttttt, that's some good input there. I wonder if i'm abusing them!
