Finally 1000 subs

hit 1000 subs today. I was at around 700 in december and used adwords to help me get the rest of the way here quicker. For experiment sake, we barely did any commenting on youtube and most of growth was adwords i assume and not other youtubers subbing back to us.

This allowed me to fine tune our adwords strategy to see if it is of any use or cost effective. Now that we're here though ive stopped adwords and will see if being at 1,000 will have any decent organic growth and ive seen a lot of youtubers be very successful just reaching out to each others channels and growing that way, so ill probably try that out too.

Anyways, excited to finally get this far and curious to see if hitting 1,000 subs mark will have any difference.
 
Congratulations! That's a great number to surpass! I'm glad Adwords worked for you, I don't plan on using it until I get more videos out and have more to look at but I have been wondering how well it works and I have seen a lot of people ask about it so it's nice to know it worked well for you. Good luck on further growth as well!

Thanks. Yea you definitely want to do some research and testing when doin adwords. It can easily drain your funds with abysmal returns if setup too loosely.
 
Well I have no idea how to use Adwords, if you can give me some advice about this, it would be very helpful. Congratulations for the amazing 1000 subs and all the best :)
 
Congrats! That is a really awesome milestone :) I have used adwords a bit, but I don't think I will use it again till I'm a bit bigger. It helped me get a good chunk of views, but not really subs.

Would YouTube videos have an added advantage over normal websites paying the same money for Ad?

if you havent used it at all you probably want to check out a tutorial or spend some time navigating the website to become familiar with the options before going live with any campaign. But i plan on making a video on how i do adwords for the kid toys category.[DOUBLEPOST=1454868933,1454868567][/DOUBLEPOST]

Hmm not sure about added advantages. Im sure the results vary depending on what youre trying to achieve with your campaign. If it is to convert into sales, views, clicks, subscriptions, etc. And who you are targeting. Im sure the results would vary depending on youtube channel category.
