I have done a complete design overhaul on my channel which has taken me about 3 weeks to complete, I hope you guys like it, any feedback would be amazing.
I only created my original channel about 1 month ago then out of the blue I find out a new youtube template is being introduced. I took this as an opportunity to fine tune my skills and try to design something unique.
Incoming very detailed post lol, I will give you a rundown on all my designs and a brief description into them.
Outro: (time needed: 30 minutes)
My previous outro was linked to my old channel design, this needed changing asap. I got working on photoshop and finally got something I am happy with.
Trailer: (time needed: 2 weeks approx)
With the new youtube redesign they have introduced this new trailer feature for all channels, it is crucial for the future of my channel to get this perfect (or near perfect). I wanted something which briefly introduced my channel, what I do, examples of the games I play and some fancy effects to make it look nice. I have used after effects previously but this was a whole new level of difficulty.
Logo: (time needed: 45 minutes)
Very similar to the banner, I wanted something unique throughout my videos so people recognize my logo whenever they see it. I have integrated the meaning of ‘Tenacious’ & ‘Circle’ into it for adding effect!
Banner: (time needed: 1 hour, 20 minutes)
I have been able to fine tune my skills in Photoshop since my first channel design so I took this opportunity to create a new banner which is unique and informative. I spent several days drawing up ideas in my notepad and finally had something to create with Photoshop! I played around with colours and fonts, I am very pleased with the final design!
Considering I only started using CS6 Photoshop and CS6 After Effects approximately 2 months ago I am very satisfied with the results. If you could give me any feedback, where I could improve on, what you would like to be added etc that would be awesome. Thanks for reading <3
