Fake Titles on Reuploads for $

I am strictly interested in manipulating youtube right now to gain consistent monthly income vis monetization. I am honestly just trying to recoup a little of what I put in.

One strategy I am going to do is reupload old videos after deleting them, as many of them got almost no traction originally.

My question is about title naming though. I am honestly thinking just copying and pasting a title of a popular vlog onto my reuploads may be the way to go. I have noticed i get a lot more traction this way. I am talking even if the title i copy and paste has nothing to do with the actual topic.

Ethics aside, i really do not care about the ethics of it, do you think it is likely i will make more income this way? I have a feeling it might but I was curious what you all have to say.

I would say

Just give up, don't start again.

I have been in yt 4 years now and all i can say, is if you insist on making a yt channel, make it something you love and you are able to make videos about. So if you love your garden and gardening that would be something.

Anything else just forget it. I honestly believe the algorithm chooses based on random. Not everyone, but many it picks up their channels at random (ie luck).

You'd be breaking the rules regarding misleading metadata. Here's a quote from Youtube's rules:

__
Don’t post content on YouTube if it fits any of the descriptions noted below:

Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails: Using the title, thumbnails, description, or tags to trick users into believing the content is something it is not.

What happens when content violates this policy
If your content violates this policy, we’ll remove the content and send you an email to let you know. If this is your first time violating our Community Guidelines, you’ll get a warning with no penalty to your channel. If it’s not, we’ll issue a strike against your channel. If you get 3 strikes, your channel will be terminated. You can learn more about our strikes system here.

But let's pretend it's not against the rules. It still won't work because here is what will happen. People see a title they like. They click on the video and when they realise your video is totally unrelated, they will stop watching. That results in a very low watch time (retention) and that results in the algorithm decing that your videos are not good enough to promote and they will stop appearing in search and suggested videos.

Here's an idea - If you know what titles people like and click on, then why not ermmm, you know actually make videos about those videos instead of reuploading unrelated stuff.
