Enabling Monetization Before Getting A Partnership?

Hello my friends!

When considering applying for a network, if we were to be approved, is it a prerequisite to already have your account monitized?

Since our last channels adsense was disabled (someone click bombing) i am nervous to enable it and suffer the same problem.

Should I enable monitization and then apply for a network?
 
I would just keep it off until you join a network. It's to much of a liability. But either way it will work unless yours is disabled by google. I know I had it enabled the first time I joined a network and the 2nd time I joined a network I didn't have it enabled. The process was WAY quicker after being accepted to become a partner when I didn't have it enabled.
 
AFAIK its not needed, I wouldnt enable ads on any of your new channels or make any other Adsense accounts and just go for a partnership with a network instead.

Just out of curiosity if you go with a network is it required to have a new Adsense?
