PLEASE NOTE THE DATE ON THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, THIS IS AN OLD ANNOUNCEMENT AND IS NOT UP TO DATE.

You can now all earn extra YTtalk Cash which you can use towards buying a banner on the homepage of the forums every month and it is very easy to do so, the basis of how this works is simple, you help the forums grow by linking to YTtalk from your channel and in return you are able to get the cash together quicker for your banner advertising.

The total Cash amount per month you can earn for linking to the forums from your channel is:

15 Cash

You get this every month that the link stays in place on your channel and you can use it towards your next banner.

To get this extra cash simply link to the forums homepage from your channel in your About Me section using the text "YouTube Forum" or "YouTube Forums", send me a quick message on here with a link to the channel and your extra cash will be with you asap.

There are of course a few guidelines that need to be stuck to so things stay fair and they are outlined below.
  • The link must be in your About Me section and link to the forums homepage here: http://yttalk.com/ and the link text must say "YouTube Forums" or "YouTube Forum".
  • The link must stay in place for a whole month and the channel must be an active channel, one that is being used regularly, it cant be an old channel or one you use only now and then.
  • We cant accept multiple accounts with links on them to earn multiple Cash amounts.
  • If a link is removed without letting us know the extra cash will be removed, this will keep things fair for those who have kept theirs in place.
  • The channel must have at least 10 subscribers and at least 100 total video views.
  • If you wish to earn the 15 Cash every month you must keep the link on your channel and message myself letting me know at the end of the month/30 days and I will send you 15 every month that it is there.
This idea was inspired by CleanableHat's post on my profile so thank you!

I hope everyone likes this as it allows for promotion of the forums which is really appreciated and also for quicker access to getting a banner on the homepage :)

I would also like to mention that there will be some other options around the forums for cash spending coming soon which also involves promotion.

When all of the banner spots are taken on the homepage in the future please make a request for yours to be up next, things will work on a queue basis, just so those who have wondered what will be happening then now know.

He said 100 total video views, which i believe means go to your account settings tab and where it says video views, that number needs to be above 100. I did not see anything regarding how many videos you need but since it needs to be an active channel you probably need to show some form of consistant uploading. hope this helps
