Do's and Don'ts of a YouTube Channel

DO's
-Have a schedule for uploading like once a week, every Thursday, etc.
-Create great thumbnails that will captivate your audience.
-Be friendly with your community by replying to their comments, checking out their channels,etc.
- Update if there is a delay before your next video. Your viewers need to know that you still exist!
- Smile at the camera because people enjoy seeing a friendly face.
- Have a good backdrop in your videos. Spice things up with some candles, lights, posters on you walls,etc.
-Have good quality videos. No one likes a video with too much light or too little. Buy some lamps if you need to.
-Watch the video you're commenting on BEFORE commenting.
- Make goals and try to achieve them!
- Respect everyone's differences

Don'ts
-NEVER diss another YouTuber's channel. Be kind towards everyone. Hate isn't gonna help you.
-Don't go overboard and upload every day. Give your viewers time to attach to your recent video.
-Don't EVER sub for sub because if you unsub them they will unsub you which is BAD. You need QUALITY before QUANTITY.
-Don't comment telling people to check out your channel if you have no videos.
- Don't create numerous fake accounts just to thumbs up or subscribe your own videos. This is pathetic and a waste of your time. Eventually the YouTube community finds out.
-Don't undermine the goals of your supporters. Your fans are the ones that always keep you going.
-Don't intentionally offend anyone. This backfires every time!

I didn't know you could do that either... better get on it.... jk jk jk, I would rather put more effort into the actual videos themselves, haha
 
Yup, this list has all of the essentials - spot on! Subs for subs always make me cringe. For those who do it serially, I wonder how do they keep up with all of the accounts? It just sounds like a HUGE waste of time to me. Anyways, thanks for sharing!
