DON'T MAKE THIS COMMON MISTAKE! Number one issue with new youtubers

This thread is so true and really hits home with me even though my community is not the gaming one. I am dedicated 100% and live, breathe, and eat YouTube. And back when I was trying to make genuine friends and get more support, I would come across people who weren't as into it as I was. Promises were made, and they were broken, and I felt betrayed. Maybe they just lost steam? Maybe they changed their mind about me? Maybe they fell off the face of the earth? Either way, if you are serious about starting a YouTube channel, make sure you have some ambition and determination to back it up. That's my opinion. Because the people who don't, just disappoint themselves and everyone else.
 
All very good points... uploading in the summer is hard cause there is so much fun to be had and I see some people dropping off a bit (myself included) but you gotta power through it
