Partnerships: We all want one, but many people rush into it without doing research first.
Out of the many YouTube networks currently out there, two of them seem to have a very bad reputation. These networks are: AwesomenessTV, and RPM (as of 4/4/13). Both of these networks have very little to no requirements, and will accept just about anyone. (I've even seen a channel partnered with 0 subscribers and 0 views). I highly suggest not getting partnered with those two networks, and waiting until you can get partnered with a better network out there.
If I had a dollar for every post that went something along these words:
I just got partnered with __________ network.....
It seems like so many people rush into becoming partnered, because they want the features, but they don't take the couple of minutes to do research or even read the contract. You're already on the computer; there is this thing called Google (Or Bing, Yahoo, MSN, Aol, Dogpile, Ask, MyWebSearch, etc.). Look at reviews of others who have been partnered with them. Look up your questions before you partner with them. When you buy something online, do you ever look at reviews? If not, you really should. If something seems too good to be true, it most likely is.
When asking questions AFTER you already partnered, there is this thing called a contract. To get partnered with a network, you have to read and SIGN the contract. Almost everything you need to know about the network is included in the contract. Signing it states that you read and agreed to their terms of service. You agreed to how they run their network.
Do not blame other people, or the network because YOU didn't do research or read the contract. So if you have not partnered with a network, and you are planning to (either soon, or in the future), please be sure to do some research beforehand, and to read the contract before you sign.

- Why is my pay cut?
- Why am I making less?
- Can I upload _____ videos?
- Do they promote your channel/videos?
- Why haven't they promoted me yet?
- I am still gaining the same subs/views a day.
- Why isn't my channel growing?
- When can I leave my network?
- I'm not making more money. I REGRET IT.
- I'm not getting promoted. I REGRET IT.
- I don't like my split. I REGRET IT.
- I don't like the payment hold. I REGRET IT.
- I don't get the support I expected. I REGRET IT.
