Do i NEED commentary over my gaming videos?

Warhammer

Posting Mad!
Well I have a gaming channel (not actually gaming, but gaming cinematics).
I don't do all those "lets play" or some "normal gameplay" or "walkthroughs".
I make gaming cinematics and I use CC licensed music and I give full credits.
I also mention "Recorded in BF3 (DICE/EA)" something like that.
And I would like to add that cinematics don't have commentaries over them, they are not gameplays.

So the question is, would I be able to get a partnership with FS/RPM/Vultra or some other network (not with these stats, but in the future)?

Thanks :)

To be able to be considered for partnership you need to at least have commentary over all your gameplay vidoes

For cinematics I don't think you will need a voice over on it.
for other game play stuff you do.

Edit: Do you make like short movie cinametics, or you capture the ingame cinametics?
Because if you capture ingame cinametics you will need to have a voice over to make it fair use.

Having looked at your videos, not as of yet. However if you obtain permission from the games companies (a lot of them are very accepting, provided you are tactful in asking) you can get away with your content as is I reckon. I say this because you're putting up well made tributes and mashups that are promotional to the game.

I once came across a gaming channel - cant remember what it was called though - where the YouTuber would upload 2 versions of each video, 1 with commentary and 1 without, giving the viewer the choice of which to watch. I thought it was a pretty good idea ;)

Thanks a lot for your feedback guys :)
I will try contacting the game companies and will try mailing some networks :)
