Do I need Adsense for a YT Partnership?

So I was wondering whether I should apply for socialblade and if I could get partnered without having to use Adsense. Or can I get partnered with another company that does not use Adsense and does it there own way? Just a thought as I hate the way Adsense do things

Networks connect your youtube to their adsense so no you don't need one, they normally pay via cheque/paypal on a monthly basis.

If you have adsense, then it will just slow down the partner process. If you partner with a network, you will not be using your own adsense account.

What networks do? I thought it was more like 85% of networks do not need you to have adsense.
