Hi everybody! I am a Spanish youtuber with 2300 subscribers and 668,000 total views. I have recently contacted Curse and they offered me the "Emerging Market Contract".
Anyone has signed this contract? What can you tell me about it?
This is the answer I received: "Thanks so much for your interest in Curse. If you are a non-English speaking channel with high levels of International traffic, than you qualify for our Emerging Market Contract. Our Emerging Market Contract states that you earn everything that YouTube determines you earn and not our standard $3 CPM. This means you earn a fluctuating RPM based on Ad Clicks. The requirements still remain the same (no copyright strikes, no Ad Sense issues, gameplay content, k subs) and Curse will pay out all profits earned solely through YouTube. "
There's something that baffles me and is this sentence: "RPM based on Ad Clicks". Does this mean they're going to pay for clicks rather than impressions/views? It was my understanding that network payments were for views, not clicks.
What do you think? Right now I have about 117,000 visits per month, should I try to apply for another network such TGS or Fullscreen or this is a good deal?
