It's something you can't just check I think because it's different for each person. And there are many factors that go into it. Like how much advertisers spend and your audience retention...just to name a couple. So how do I find my cpm? I have a 60/40 contract but I didnt see a cpm anywhere in the contract
so anyone know of a guide to calculate it?
I don't know how accurate my method is, but I go on youtube analytics and look at the estimated earnings compared to the monetized playbacks. CPM is earning per 1000 views. So just do some math and divide and stuff.. xD Then you can multiply by your split to see how much you get per 1000.so anyone know of a guide to calculate it?
I'd say it's the easiest way, too. Ad Performance is before Google's share of around 50%, it may or may not be the same depending on the networks' agreement with Google and before the share with the network. So take those percentages out and you should see a representable viewing of your CPMI don't know how accurate my method is, but I go on youtube analytics and look at the estimated earnings compared to the monetized playbacks. Does anyone know if you can just go to ad performance's playback-based cpm in yt analytics and multiply by .55 or was it .45, adsense's split, and that's the cpm? Probably have to wait for some network experts like Shane or Matt to answer that, I still can't really calculate my cpm -.-.
Gross CPM shows up in the Ad performance section of analytics.
Multiply Gross CPM by 0.55 to get your Net CPM (CPM after googles cut)
Multiple Net CPM by 0.60 (your network`s cut) to get your RPM (revenue per 1000 views)
