Copyright or trademark?

Hey everyone i know i've only just started up on YouTube but i feel as if i should at least trademark some stuff. i cant even put my Username as a custom URL i have to put numbers on it. :/ so shall i trademark my name and art? Any thoughts

well since I just stole your stuff and started making t-shirts I wouldn't copyright it.. will totally screw up my business plan.

In all honesty... I would maybe put a water mark on your stuff.
 
haha well it would be good publicity ;) aha yeah i was thinking of doing that :) any ideas about the URL thing because i don't really like how its 919 at the end
 
Trademarks can be expensive depending on how many classes you wish to be covered for, id only bother if you are very serious about what you are doing and have a strategy and plan for the future.
