Contacted someone from Fullscreen Support

So i contacted Fullscreen support and asked them some questions:

1. Whats the Average CPM for Fullscreen?
2. Is the CPM capped or uncapped?
3. Is there a Fixed CPM?
4. How much is the revenue Split?
5. Will I be able to make money off of cover videos?

Heres what they responded back with:

1. YouTube's CPM (or "earnings per 1000 views") fluctuates on a daily basis. Larger fluctuations occur during different times of the year. For instance the 4th quarter will always have the highest CPM because of the holiday advertising. January (right after the holidays) and July (in addition to other summer months) typically have the lowest CPM's. CPM also fluctuates based on what country in which the ads are viewed, and the demographics of the channel. Post revenue share, YouTube CPM's are typically somewhere between 50 cents and $3.00.

2. Uncapped

3. No

4. usually 70/30

5. You should be.

Is this good or bad?

The fact they didn't give you a more confident answer in 4 and 5 would make me avoid them lol "Usually" and "Should be"? If I said to a customer when working in IT that a laptop or computer should do the job they wanted I'd never make a single sale.

He was vague when he answered 5. "You should be" means that as long as you monetize a cover that is under the FAM Library. If not, you can't. I guess that's what he was trying to say in under 3 words for some reason.
