Compare my new and old icons? :D

I spent half an hour on the new one XD. I would like to know if I improved from the old on, and if you like the new one or not . Also, do you think I made the icon live up to the sketch?

I think the old one looks better, the new one looks less proffessional, (not that either looks like its on a professional level but still)
