How would you know it's harsh when you haven't seen the comment? I remove my own comments all the time when I make a typo. This is to avoid spamming on someone's video.

But yes, in rare cases, a troll might remove their own comment out of self-pity.

Yeah I think it's likely they probably removed the comment as usually troll comments get marked as spam? I've had subscribers do that when they see somebody being a d**k on one of my videos, subscribers are nice like that!
