Comedy Comedic Poetry Series? Tell me what you think.

The Grandad.
I had an idea of starting a comedic poetry series, in which anyone can participate in. All you need to do is send in video (or simply audio) of you reading out your poem (Yes, it has to be yours). I originally got this idea, simply because of the fact that my college was promoting an open mic night at a local pub of mine.

Thoughts? And if this goes through, then I will go ahead with it.

@Selim Keles I'll get you in on this. I would tag Pierre, but he's banned until the start of next month.

Can you spare more details? I'm very confused on what you actually want.

In basic terms, this is a series, in which people come in with their funny poems.

What I would need is a video (or audio) of you reading out your funny poem, in which can barely have any limits at all. The poem does have to be created by you, as this shows your creativity :). I would do episodes of people reading out their funny poems, for others to see. At the moment, the only way to send the videos would be by either E-Mail or Google Drive (if video is more than 25MB).

I've tried to give out as much detail as I can, prior to the question. If you need any specific details, don't hesitate to query about it :)

This is actually a pretty nifty idea. You could definitely run it as a regular thing.

One idea is to create a multi-level marketing platform. Instead of trying to get other YouTubers to submit videos to you, call for fans to Tweet you poems or post up their poems in the video's comments sections. That gets you a more active fanbase, more active videos, and more material to draw on.
Then you read the poems, yourself.
That would also engage your audience to try to get you do silly poems and stuff like that. Of course it depends on how interestingly you could recite the poems.

It is definitely an interesting idea, though.

I think that is a cool idea! And you can also theme it differently every week or something just to keep it going.

Good luck! :)
