They could A) Meet up in person and do a simultaneous vlog or B) Send each other clips which the uploader can edit into his liking

If there's something I'm missing, I'd like to know as well, seeing as I'm not a vlogger.

basically you just each would upload a video to the channel on a certain topic chosen that week!

Just an fyi, it's not like Our 2nd Life, they didn't create collab channels, there have been and are many from before O2L existed.
