Claimed videos monetize after accepted from network

Bryan Jacobo

I've Got It
So I got accepted to a network and I had claimed videos and now it seems I can't montize them but don't I have the rights to the video now sense I'm partnered? I'm talking about gaming videos btw :help:

Hey Bryan Jacobo

I took at look at your channel and all your recent videos are claimed (monetized) by RPM Network. I assume this is the network you signed with. If so, then thats a good sign as it means they are being monetized.

Claiming is essentially monetizing but on networks. It's called claiming as it can do so much more than standard monetization. If you go to one of your videos -> edit -> claiming options. You should see that it is claimed with the usage policy 'Monetize'.

I hope that has explained it. From what you have said you have nothing to worry about!

Are you saying they were claimed BEFORE you were a partner? As in claimed by another entity? Others can definitely do that as an option to videos which infringe on their IP.

I am not sure how such a situation would be handled when you joined, but I can imagine what you are describing is a reasonable estimation of how it would act. If true, this is a situation to talk to your partner manager about.

No its not claimed with montezatition and before it was claimed with copyright but they let the video slide I just had to give them credit . here.. this makes more senseUntitled.png[DOUBLEPOST=1370291309,1370291197][/DOUBLEPOST]As you can see only 2 videos are claimed

I'm not familiar with the white copyright symbol, what does it say on hover? I assume "Claimed by 3rd party" or something similar?

All right that is the exact situation I've was talking about in my first post before, here:

The other posters were confused and thought you were talking about something very basic, so ignore those. You need to contact the support for your network, but I doubt they will be able to do anything automatically they will probably have to contact the company that claimed it initially.
