Can you critique my logo?

Hey guys.. I'm no designer and I don't have the funds to pay for the services of another so I did up this logo, it's nothing special and honestly I don't really like it...

I was wondering what I could do to make it stand out more, or something
If anyone wanted to modify it I would be forever grateful, feedback would be just as well though!

I like it. And you're going to want a logo always to be big. That way when you shrink it down later it will look WAY sharper.
 
I really like your intro. Your logo looks somewhat pixelated, but I don't think that average viewer is really going to catch that. I only noticed it b/c I was looking for it.

The logo looks okay, but if you don't like it and you should obviously change it. I wish I could give you some pointers on how to make the design better. I usually look at a bunch of different professional logos and draw inspirations from the designs. Btw, the song in your sig. is really catchy.

It has a strong association value with Napster's logo (minus the cat), which I think is good because it looked very familiar w/o ever having seen it before. Also, it exceeds what I could personally create, so in that regard I think you should be proud of it. If you're not happy, keep playing with it, but i think it's actually a great start.

I've actually always wanted a 3D logo and figured I couldn't do that, I love the other channels that use some sort of 3D modeling.. you've inspired me to figure that out, i'll keep at it until I get it right.
In the meantime i'd like to improve this one a bit I guess, thanks for confirming it looks pixelated in the intro! I gotta fix that for sure.

I actually would love to play up on that somehow (legally) since we are somewhat similar, in the free music sense at least .. thanks for pointing that out I never would have noticed that!

I also don't like the texture, and that may be why it's pixelated on the intro.. thank-you!! I will change that now.
 
LOOKS LIKE s**t! lol Nah I kid. It looks alright, but for some reason, I would like to see the reds and blues in there... It's kinda the colors of your channel now D:

I got a really odd track coming in later tonight that's half dubstep / half hiphop, but really the Dubstep VS. Hiphop campaign isn't turning out the way I wanted.
We are going to move into other genres, so i'll have to switch the background aswell..

I like the red vs blue concept but i'm also considering a simple professional look, using shades of white and black.. I'm on the fence on that one :s
 
I actually like it. One suggestion is get rid of the grainy texture for maybe a chrome or at least metal looking finish I think it will look alot more sleek
