Building a specific Audience?

Obviously this isn't an easy question or everyone on YouTube would be famoso. But for genres like Sketch Comedy, the audience is obviously pretty big, but it's super general and therefore even more difficult to initially attract people. So my question is basically how do I get people to even just check out one video. Thanks all.
 
I'd say collab with people who do the same sorts of videos you do, however small there channel. They get your audience and you expand yours. It takes time though, so I hope your time on youtube goes well :)

Yeah I getcha but theres very few small channels that still do SketchComedy

I'm not sure what this topic is about but in-order to stand out to people is ask yourself why does someone or even yourself click on the people with high amount of views? Get your view time going good and collabs are always great!
