I was looking at my dismal stand still numbers for the month again. I know my channel thumbnails are not that great. I think my content is okay long because I'm a gamer. I was just wondering where you guys have had the most luck promoting your channel. I've attempted Sharee today where I pinned my profile for 7 days and I also posted a video that I felt was the best one on my channel. The issue is it doesn't seem to be doing much. The video share has been up almost 2 hours with only 5 views and the pinned profile has not led to new views or subs. I also have promoted on Reddit, twitter, and instagram but again it doesn't do much for the channel. What are some of the sites you guys use to promote your channel in order to get more subs who are interested in your content, more views, etc?

There´s a lot of tips and tricks on this forum about this already, so I recommend you to have a look and see what suits you!
The Moderators will say the same thing and close the thread. Good luck with your channel!

I would just say try and put as much effort as possible into every one of your videos. If you really want people to keep coming back for more, make content that is engaging, entertaining and there is never a dull moment. Just cutting up the video and calling it a day is not enough for gaming YouTubers nowadays, you'll just get lost in the crowd. You have to do something that people aren't doing yet, and if you do that, your audience will find you.

Go to reddit. Create an account. And check out in the main search bar type in a keyword like video games, or anything you want. Look at the subreddits that come up, click a few and make a post in there. Make sure not to spam, but make a nice little thread with the link and see how they respond.

Speaking from the perspective of a viewer, I wouldn't be willing to sit down and watch a 1-2 hour long gameplay video especially if it's just unedited footage from a livestream.

No one can be constantly entertaining for that long and the length is going to put off many people from checking out your content. It seems the majority of your videos are long-plays which is fine if that is what you enjoy making but most viewers will want to see a shorter compilation style video just to get a sense of who you are before they are willing to dedicate themselves to watching a longer video.

What Nugget said, I never click on gaming videos, and only those who play that specific game will. So you aught to tag your videos with the tags that relate to that specific game in the vid.

Also like he said, no one is gonna attempt to watch a 2 hour video for a couple good gameplay moments. Edit that s**t down to 3 or 4 minute videos of pure highlights. Good content is key. I guarantee youll start getting more engagement if you do these things.

Focus on great content first. Make great thumbnails. This is esp important in gaming. Keep in mind your audience and make shorter videos. If you can, look into livestreaming.
