I've personally been using Powerdirector 11 ($90) and love it.



Movie Studio is like a watered down version of Vegas Pro. But should still meet your needs.

I used an older version of Adobe Premiere Elements which I had frustrations with earlier versions and it seems a bit over priced compared to either of the two above.

If money is no problem then Vegas Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Still I would use trials to see what you are comfortable with.

Interesting. I do have an i7 cpu and it was a bit slow at first until I updated my motherboard drivers. It's working much better now. The rendering speeds are just unreal though lol

I think I need to reinstall it. It messes the hell up at random times. I think it might be because I have the cheapest version, which doesn't have the 64bit optimization the more expensive versions have.
