Basic Video Editor !?

Is there any basic light weight , small memory usage , video editors ?
I use Sony Vegas but im sick of long rendering , taking up lots of space.
I basically add videos , cut them up , background music . That's about it ..

Anything anyone ?
 
Sony Vegas is a good editor. A basic editor won't equate to faster rendering. If anything, it usually equals slower rendering. If Sony is taking a long time to render it's usually because your computer specs are on the lacking side or you render in the wrong settings.
 
If you want really basic. Try using Windows movie maker. It is a free download. Just google it. I use it for all my basic videos with no fancy stuff. It is fast[DOUBLEPOST=1428733583,1428733455][/DOUBLEPOST]If you more advance and easy to use try Camtasia. It cost around $300. I think there is a free trail on their website. Google camtasia
 
I guess ill stay with sony vegas , it takes about an hour to render a vid.. Not too long but its all good
