Banner/Avatar Opinions

My friend within my gaming clan created the logo and banner for our channel. I was wondering if I could get some thoughts/opinions on it. More so I'd like to get some ideas for the banner

Avatar is nice = 7/10
Banner is just a cut-off controller and keyboard not even your name? = 2 and a half/10

I agree with above. The avatar is pretty good but the banner shouldn't be cut off. You should follow the template, trust me it helps!

Yeah I gotta start doing this myself before letting clanmates do it haha. I just uploaded a new banner, its different than the icon and I don't feel it really contrasts well with it. But lemme know what you guys think. Thanks for the advice so far guys

Updated the channel. New banner, its a better version of the original we had up. If anyone could refer me to someone who could make some music for me, that would be great.
