Average CPM with Fullscreen?

So, we just left our old network. It was a pretty bad experience and a really bad contact (lesson learned) so, I am hesitantly looking around and doing research on other networks.

Does anyone know what sort of CPMs you can expect with fullscreen? How easy is it to make more than what you're already making with Adsense (we are currently getting around $1 to $2 CPM with Adsense). Is it pretty standard to expect more than that when joining fullscreen? Because we were told that we'd be making more than our Adsense earnings with our last network and that didn't turn out to be case at all...

I understand they have other benefits besides money. I'm just trying to start gathering some more information and do some research to understand everything.

Average CPM? There isn't really such a thing. Well, there's an average in everything, but with CPMs it just wouldn't have any meaning at all. An average of $4 isn't gonna do anything for you when top partners are getting $15 and small channels are getting $1. And you can influence your CPM yourself. A lot. Posting in the right category, high audience retention, subs, views are all factors that influence your CPM, with or without a network. And things that are harder to change, like where your audience is from and what they watch / how they surf the net. (But not impossible to influence, you can try to target the "right" audiences.) The only thing that would matter is getting a minimum CPM set in your contract. Meaning that if your CPM drops below it, the network would have to pay out of their pocket.

The best thing to do is ask a partner manager what a channel your size with your average views per month within the same section (Vlog Union) would average in CPM for a specific time period (ask monthly averages). Then compare it to your stats from the past few months and other networks you are considering. Be especially careful when talking to networks that quote gross CPM (CPM before adsense takes their 45% cut) as a way to make their CPMs appear higher. If you want to be put touch with a Fullscreen partner manager that can provide you with info, PM me.
