Avatar/Banner Feedback

Had my avatar and banner done by the same person, as a one-off friends thing. I love them both and don't intend totally overhaul them and change them, BUT:

I gave feedback on another channel recently saying it was plain and it could use "more" in background / blank space:

Thank you ^__^. The guy who did them is currently studying graphic design at Uni and's a good friend.
Whizzed the avatar up in an hour, and it took a few days for the banner. He's good to me. X__X.
