Would i be better off if i did a seperate channel for my vlog about me/arsenal/soccer or just put it with my gaming channel and wait for viewers to tell me to change?

Seperately is better and if you want your viewers to stay/boost keep cross linking your videos. (Tell people to see your other channel for ....)

I would keep it seperate. Like I know when I'm subscribed to someone I dont like seeing stuff thats unrelated to what I subbed for to begin with.
Like I keep my sims2machinima on my first channel and then I vlog on my 2nd channel cuz clearly not everyone that watches my Vlogs will like sims 2 series and may come annoyed.
