Does anyone here have a good tips on how to get mobile viewers to subscribe? Personally I've always thought "hey, if someone wants to subscribe they'll do it, no need for pushing it on them" But I always hear these amazing stories of how if you do this one certain thing you'll get tons more subscribers.

Also, do annotations work on smartphones or ipads? or only on computers? I've noticed that 80% of my views come from mobile devices so am wondering if there is anything I can do to get a person who watches my video to subscribe? I think a lot of times viewers don't know that you have more videos they can watch, so they just watch the one video and leave never knowing you had more.

I once was told that people using Ad-block on their computer makes YouTube register a view as a mobile view. [Source Needed :p]

I don't think annotations work on mobile devices. Commercials however I saw a lot in the past days. I'm not sure if there's any advice to make mobile viewers subscribe to you. I assume iPad is also considered mobile? I haven't looked that deep into the YT app so I don't know what it supports like playlists or ranking that newest videos come up first. You can maybe check what's possible on the mobile app?

Okay so for mobile viewers ads and the skip button do work but annotations for cell users do not work. They do not have a option to enable or disable annotaions on cell phones yet. Im not sure about Ipads yet but I do know they also dont work for kindles because I have tried it. Since the mobile device has limited area they only show related vids by tags only meaning if you did 10 vids but have a common tag in all of them for instance your channel name it will most likely display another vid but if your tags arnt similar then they may display someone elses video as a related one. The only known way to get a mobile subscriber is to have a great video that they like, where they will then go to your channel from the mobile device and press subscribe. Mobile subs are some of the hardest to get but easiest for views.

I'm about 90% sure that annotations don't work on mobile.

I would interested to know if this was actually true.

Even if it is true I read some where that mobile views arnt counted for monetization.

Which actually supports my statement in a way, because if Ad-Blocker will block ads, but also more than likely block whatever is used to actually count it as a monetized view.

I am still not sure if it is true though haha XD someone with teh knowledge should post ;)
