Are partnerships really worth it?

I've seen that ALOT of YouTubers get frustrated, or generally dislike partnerships... so if anybody out there has a partnership, I'm just wondering how your experience with it is going

Partnerships help prevent click-bombing, they provide a music library, licenses, forums (used to promote your videos/collab with people). Some networks promote their partners. And other things, but that's just what I can think of right now.

So yes, partnerships are worth it. Although, If you are a small channel (Less than 100 views a day), it's not worth it.

It depends... People rush into them only to find themselves locked into a s****y contract that only gives them music and thumbnails. FullScreen tried to lock me into a 60/40 contract for 2 years and I told them "No Thanks". I'll get partnered when I have a contract that's at least 80/20 and when it can actually get me some income.

It also depends on the type of your channel in my opinion. For example I make cover songs so normally I'm not allowed to monetize them but if I'd join Fullscreen I'd be able to do so because of the deal they have with UMPG. So yeah, for me partnership is totally worth it. ;)

Yes, if you`re big enough to negotiate a good rev-share/contract terms.

And if it`s with a network that will actually help you (with graphics/editing/equipment/support/growth etc) instead of providing nothing in return for their split.

Okay, thanks. I'm still in the very early stages of my YouTube, so I have a while to go until I need to worry about that, but it's good to figure out everything now and have a plan

You can also have custom thumbnails
