I've Got It
i noticed on the copyright tab that IDOL has claimed Sound a few of my videos due to music. are they a sound publishing firm or anything? jsut ask because one old video has close to 2k views and is claimed by them. funny thing is ever sinc ei got with machinima i dont get many ID matches anymore :)

I think they're a music label of sorts. You won't get many ID matches with a network as they allow you to 'claim' your videos which probably reduced how often you get them.
 
I've heard of them before. They're a music label. When i searched them, nothing came up.

Don't worry. You can claim your videos worry-free.

Claiming a video doesn't do anything but monetize it. If whatever you upload is a reference file in the Content ID database, you will get a Content ID claim on the video regardless.
 
All I know about them is I remember seeing a news article about them saying that they came together with Sony to make one of the biggest content managers on the internet.

Oh, what's the point in claiming it then, besides monetization? :0?
