Another - Is FS worth it? question.

I've had my channel for a few years now and am averaging 3000 views/day and according to YT analytics CPM of $6.89. I've talked to FullScreen and N4GTV. Both have told me that my RPM is quite high although I honestly don't think I'm making that much money. I have options of joinging with either of them or also CPM. Actually FS would be their Guns Guts and Glory Network.

I'm just debating whether its worth it like everyone else. I understand that the idea is to get more subs which should up your views and thus your income, but there is obviously no guarantee of that and a 2 year contract seems awfully long to commit to without knowing where its going to go. And, is there a chance that I'd actually end up making less money because they will take a cut?

And, then aside from FS's cut, Paypal is going to take another 3% on top of that when I withdraw money. At least Adsense does direct deposit to my bank account so I don't lose anything.

I like the "idea" of the partnership and some of the benefits it seems to offer, but I don't want to do it if in the end I'm not going to get a lot more subs and make more money.

Thoughts?

Thanks

For all networks theres going to be a contract for you to commit to. And you'll never know what's going to happen.

Well the Gorilla program could be getting you 20$+ CPMs ;)

There is a chance you will earn less due to the cut, however Fullscreen has one of the best reputations for promotion ;)

How do they promote you other than say, on the Guns Guts & Glory channel page?

I suppose a partnership would also protect me against click bombing?

Yes it would and they tweet users videos from time to time. Also their Gorilla program as mentioned previously.

There are no paypal fees associated with Fullscreen. You get the full amount you are owed. 2 years is an awful long time. My opinion is that 1 year is an awful long time as things tend to change rather quickly on youtube. If you're not comfortable with the contract terms, ask them to change it. The worst that can happen is they say no. You may want to inquire with Creator X. They are under Fullscreen and they might offer you the same contract with a shorter term.

There is a chance you may make less money when you sign. Signing with a network is not a guarantee of higher earnings. You just need to weigh the cost of what you're getting in return for what you have to pay them. If they're asking for 30% of you earnings, what are they giving you in return for that 30%? If they can't answer that or if the items they're offering aren't worthwhile to you, move on.
