am I being ripped off by a network?

so i got a message on youtube inviting me to a network called creative nation
and they offered me 70/30 for 2 years(I know, long time)
but them i go to their site creativenationnet dot com and it says there default contract is 90/10 for 1 year

so are they trying to scam me?

As far as I know, most networks offer a 70/30 split unless you're on the higher end of the subscriber count.

CreativeNation are currently under ForelaDigital. Their default contract is 70/30 for 2 years.

Their new site is different because they are soon looking to become an MCN and that will be the default contract when that is the case.

Don't worry, they are legit.

They are a legitimate network, and they are under Forela Digital. 70/30 is their default contract, and I believe this is stated on their website. There are some mixed emotions about this network on this site. I would say that they are a good network, but I would not personally partner under them. If you like the contract, you can go for it though. 2 years is just too long imo though. Forela should have a pretty high CPM and all that though Also as stated above, they are looking to become an MCN, so I believe the 90/10 will be in place then.

This explains it pretty well actually so thanks Conner^ as stated the website on show is for if our plan to become an MCN goes ahead (probably 1-3months away providing things go smoothly).
