When you are with adsense, you are venerable to click-bombing and that could get your channel shutdown is what i've heard from friends. Is that true ? What else is Adsense about ? Is a network better or Adsense? I'm new to this.

Welcome to the forums, maybe a introduction in the 'Introduce Myself' section?
Good luck :s

Adsense is a viable a very popular method for collecting income- people use adsense to monetize more than just youtube videos and you shouldn't shy away but rather embrace it. A valid adsense account is required for a bunch of different partnerships. Partnerships can shield you from things like click bombing though. Adsense won't get your channel shut down, if you get click bombed or are found guilty of self click or fraudulent clicks then you get your adsense account shut down. The thing with adsense is you only get 1 shot, if it's closed down, you're done. You can open as many youtube accounts as you want but only 1 adsense.

So networks seem better. I'm joining a network i've heard of AwesomessTV, do they protect from click-bombing ?

Do not join AwesomenessTV.

They won't let you leave.
They have high payout minimums.
Even then they won't pay you most most of the time.

As for clickbombing, the threat of it exists but is largely overstated from my experience. I would not worry too much about getting banned for click bombing unless you are the one doing it to yourself. Basically: Never click on an ad on your own channel. Do not encourage others to do so.

It may be prudent to actually research networks.

By commenting that way about Awesomeness.TV, you basically just said "I know a great cave to go have dinner in. No, I'm sure nothing dangerous lives in there."

That level of ignorance will hurt you.

I like your signature a lot. The real question is which network you're with ;) I'm glad you told him not to join Awesomeness TV. I personally don't plan on joining a network, at least for a very long time.

I'm with SquareOne, under OmniaMedia, which is a small network which focuses on large channels. Roughly 100k views per month to join. I wrote a writeup post about joining it a while back, but been in it for 3 months now and its been great. If anyone has any questions that is fine (If you are too small to get in, I still don't mind sharing, as it gives you an idea as to why you should hold out and not sign with the first network that finds you.)
