Ads on Trailers?

Do you guys put ads on your channel trailers? I've got overlay ads enabled, but I feel prerolls might put off people if they're checking a channel for the first time. Thoughts?

I think youre not aloud to put ads on your channel trailer ?[DOUBLEPOST=1370562035,1370562011][/DOUBLEPOST]Thats what Toby Turner said in his lazy vlog.

might as well... when an unsubscriber comes to your channel they wont see the ad, but if someone clicks on your ad video and it brings them to the video page it will roll the ad. lol
but honestly you shouldn't roll ads on your ad. you want the viewer to be completely focused on your stuff. If they see an awesome ad they might click it and never even had the chance to meet you.

You can put ads on your trailer video, but I think they will only show if they watch your trailer on the video page. If they watch the trailer on your channel page (where it shows the unsubscriber trailer), ads do not show up on it whether it is monetized or not.

Pre-roll ads just make it longer anyways so it's just better to put overlay ads if you're going to do it.

I say no. The trailer is an ad for my channel. Why put an ad on an ad?
Adception! xD

I say no ad. 1) it won't show up on the trailer on your channel, and 2) what Kevin said, your trailer is already pretty much an ad. No one wants to sit through an ad to watch another ad for your channel.
