Acknowledge or Dispute ?

Well, if you acknowledge it then you can no longer monetize the video, but it usually won't be removed. It would be foolish to dispute if you don't actually own the copyright so it really depends if you do. :)

Which video?
My latest one: "The new Rick Roll ?"

If you don't own the copyright, don't upload the video.

If you insist on violating copyright, acknowledge that you have done so.

Is you own the copyright to everything in what you've uploaded, dispute it.
If you don't know what you're talking about, don't get involved in the conversation. :cautious2: Video reviewing is a thing that has been done since the beginning of YouTube.

The clip they speak of is called "An unusual crash for two race bikes" and it belongs to the MotorsTV channel. It was reviewed by several youtubers, so I have no idea how those people managed to have monetization accepted...

What if I don't acknowledge, not dispute, and just leave it like that?

You could risk a strike if you ignore it.

I would dispute once, and see if you win. If not, then just accept it or remove the video. Don't forget, although you don't break 'the commentary rule' (as in just upload the video with no context/talking etc), the owner of the video may still not want anyone to use it, and you have to respect that.

Acknowledge or Dispute ?

Acknowledge if the audio or visual content isn't your own. Dispute if you already have the rights or permissions to use it. If the content's your own and someone's trying to steal your work, dispute as well.
