Acifin keeps asking me to negotiate the contract..

I've Got It
So I didn't have much intention to sign with Acifin, from things I have heard and they're a rather small network, but they keep sending me emails saying they're attracted to my quality and that I could start getting some solid view numbers as I go on since my channel is rather new. They have emailed me twice saying to please negotiate the contract they sent me and that they are willing to be very flexible. How should I go with approaching this?

THANKS

Oh wow i have never heard of that network before so my advice to you is to google down some research:cool:

I wouldn't go with Acifin, part of BBTV and have long lock-in contracts and bad CPM. I'd avoid and just ignore the emails you are receiving.

If that is true then it's no wonder that they want to lock this guy in now in a contract for 3 years. That would be a bad decision at ANY split.
Actually I was wrong. I just remembered that it was horrible. Turns out default contract is 5 years. Here is a depressing conversation I had when talking with an Acifin recruiter on skype:

[3/22/2013 12:21:40 PM] Acifin: Well, we can be flexible. I can offer a 70% revenue share on a 1 year agreement, how does that sound?
[3/22/2013 12:22:06 PM] Flammy: Is that your general, basic contract?
[3/22/2013 12:22:26 PM] Acifin: Not at all, the general basic contract we have most partners on is a 60% 5 year contract
[3/22/2013 12:22:44 PM] Flammy: lol
[3/22/2013 12:22:46 PM] Flammy: that is hilarious
[3/22/2013 12:22:48 PM] Flammy: 5 years...
[3/22/2013 12:22:51 PM] Acifin: I'd rather offer you something a little better
[3/22/2013 12:23:01 PM] Acifin: Haha well, over 1000 have signed it so far and continue doing so

Dear networks: Its s**t like this...

Exactly. They agree with the obvious assessment that its scammy as hell and just respond with a big "well we are getting away with it..."

To be fair to Acifin, the 5 year lock is the default BBTV contract. However, given that they are perfectly capable (clearly) of doing a 1 year makes it pretty scammy.
