A full YT partner want to join a network!

Hi there, i was wondering and cant google the correct answer.

I'm a full YT partner, with banner and everything for around a year now, but i want to go to a gaming network, i read some saying i cant because i'm already partnerd with YT!

Is this true? And what can i do about this, cancel the YT partnership before applying to a normal network? i never heard someone saying he deleted his partnership, i know you can delete the account but partnership.. ?

You can indeed apply to another network and idk who told you that an im a full youtube/fullscreen partner so i say go for it if you are going to be doing mostly gameplay tutorials i recommend trying to get into a big gaming network with more licences to games nd stuff

I belive your half a partner then, with no banners etc. i got partnerd a year ago when it was hard to get it with banners and all the options availible.

Oh, i would check out your contract then to see when it can be terminated and you can apply to other networks

No, this isn`t true, just apply and during the process the network will disable your YouTube partnership but beware once going to networks you cannot become a full partner via YouTube anymore

Aha ok.. i applyd for Yeousch, and one mods there said that i first need to ditch the YT contract/partnership than they will accept my partnership

Yes you can still go to a network. A lot of the people who were directly partnered with YouTube back in the day have gone to networks now. It will be the same process as if you just had Adsense linked to your account. It will take a little bit longer to get partnered, because YouTube must unlink adsense from you account, but you can still do it. Good luck!

And adsense, will be active ? because i want to use it for other websites, so i dont want YT to kill adsense while unlinking it from my channel

Your Adsense will be removed once the Network links you but your account will remain unchanged.

And yes as stated by others you can become a partner with a Network. As Shane said too, your YouTube channel will be de-linked from your CMS account if you join a Network and you cannot likely get it re-linked again if you wanted to leave the Network therefore only being able to monetize not the other traditional features you have now.
