Since you're just starting out. My best advice that I followed from day one is, always try to find new ways to get better at promoting, networking, SEO and improving quality of video. I did that by a lot of research, reading books, watching videos and always being a student. If you focus on that rather than 20 subs, you'll hit it before you know it.
